Business Development Consultant
Gorilla Logic has continued to grow 30% + YOY and we have our sights set on 40% YOY growth for the next 5 years. Our track record within the market and our internal employee reputation are key to our growth and success. The sales team are ambassadors for the Gorilla Logic brand tasked with growing our company in parallel with onboarding good-fit clients. In 2019, the Gorilla Logic sales team surpassed the annual sales goals in May and we are seeking unique individuals to extend this successful program.

This position is a mid to senior level role with a focus on driving new revenue in alignment with Gorilla Logics growth and culture goals. This role will be responsible for an individual annual bookings goal while working within a strong team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible as the first point of contact for potential new clients from marketing sourced channels.
  • Build a portfolio of clients, with a focus on mutually-beneficial, long-term relationships that establish Gorilla Logic as a trusted technology partner, and providing prospects and clients clear value.
  • Foster a close working relationship with the Gorilla Logic marketing team to improve our lead quality, ad strategy, marketing collateral, and identifying common requests from new clients.
  • Partner with technical solutions teams to scope engagements, write proposals, and deliver ideal clients to our teams.
  • Lead client tours of our development facilities in Colorado, San Jose, Costa Rica and Medellin, Colombia
  • Partner with Client Services team on new leads sourced from existing client relationships.
Requirements
  • Must have excellent communication skills face-to-face, on video and telephone for all internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • Ability to read situations, personality types, buying groups, body language and adjust approach/style as needed.
  • Strong process to discover the clients goals and align our services for a win-win outcome.
  • Indomitable spirit with the focus on exceeding goals regardless of external factors and the ability to approach any situation with a positive attitude.
  • Self awareness of skill sets, situations, and coachability will be key regardless of previous selling success
  • Proven success selling in a multi stakeholder sales environment that involves multiple products and departments with a track record of exceeding quota.
  • Travel up to 40%, with most trips to client sites and development sites in Costa Rica and Colombia.
Bonus Skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate at a technical level, as well as explain technical information to non-technical clients.
  • Student of sales, bringing solid experience with various sales methodologies, such as Solution Selling, Sandler, or Miller Heiman.
  • Technical delivery or software engineering background
  • CSM, SAFe, AWS, GCP, Azure, and/or development certifications
  • Proven success in contract negotiations with clients and procurement. Ability to read, understand, and negotiate complex agreements.
