Marketing Analyst
Gorilla Logic is looking for a curious and tenacious Marketing Analyst to optimize the use of data and analytics across the Marketing function.  This person will have:
  • Proven success in building and maintaining dashboards from a range of platforms/sources
  • Keen quantitative sensibilities for identifying trends and anomalies
  • The ability to delve deeper to uncover insights
  • The business acumen and confidence to make valuable recommendations
At their core, the ideal candidate is a focused problem-solver who proudly wears the “Math Geek” badge, thinks in terms of hypotheses and values collaborating with others to create tests and activities that evolve Marketing’s effectiveness. As a result of this person’s contributions, Marketing will gain greater clarity and focus – ultimately overdelivering the number of high-quality leads required to meet our goals.
 
Primary Responsibilities
  • Working with the VP of Marketing & Business Development, define and build a suite of visually appealing, meaningful dashboards that presents data from web traffic, advertising channels, lead activity, and opportunity flow
  • Frequently and consistently review dashboards for accuracy, trends, and anomalies
  • Follow through for deeper investigation and analysis, then share results with the team
  • Lead and/or participate in collaborative efforts to improve results based on insights and recommendations
  • Work closely with team members to evaluate and evolve our ABM, PPC, and Content Marketing initiatives
  • Focus on high-value KPIs, e.g. number of SQLs, versus vanity metrics, e.g. web traffic
  • Gorilla Logic Marketing is Agile. Collaborate with the team via Daily Stand Ups, Monthly Sprint Retros and Planning sessions, and Trello board diligence

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of Marketing experience
  • At least 1.5 years of experience focused on delivering results through analytics 
  • Relevant certifications, e.g. Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Google Tag Manager
  • Experience in data analytics platforms, e.g. Salesforce, Tableau, InsightSquared or other similar
