Mid-Level UI/UX Designer
Gorilla Logic is working with a company is disrupting the wedding registry and planning industry. We are looking for a mid-level UI/UX designer, to work on our client’s web application. This is a unique and highly technical role, requiring strong UI/UX experience in delivering a leading-edge platform solution. Our environment will require you to work effectively with your teammates, of course. But your real success will be measured by how well you couple critical thinking with self-motivation, enthusiasm and determination. 


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of UI/UX design experience
  • Provide a portfolio of work to review with best-in-class work, displays quality examples and inspiring projects that tackle interaction design problems.
  • Experience extending design systems and can create consistent visual designs across various platforms and domains, which includes responsive designs, mobile designs and annotated deliverables like style guides.
  • Uses best practice UI patterns and navigation to design a multi-state and scalable system of interactions and design systems.
  • Considerate of accessibility, usability and future friendly web standards.
  • Familiar with prototyping tools and other design applications while open to learning new tools and techniques, our current favorites are Sketch, Figma, InVision, Zeplin, Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Familiarity of platform conventions on iOS, Android, and web as well as an understanding of when to break them
  • Experience with scaling design systems
  • Experience with a CSS frameworks like Bootstrap and Materials Design
  • Must have the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills to interact with Agile team members

Bonus Skills
  • Experience with front end web development skills, such as basic HTML, CSS, and/or JavaScript
  • Experience with common Agile software development and collaboration tools
