The Details

  • Full-time employment with Gorilla Logic
  • This role works remotely and can be based in the Continental US, Costa Rica or Colombia
  • This will also be able to work out of our modern offices in Broomfield Colorado, San José, (CR) or Medellín (CO) for group meetings & training, on occasion and as appropriate
  • Position available to start ASAP; Flexible for two-week   notice

Senior Resource Planning Manager

Gorilla Logic is looking for an incredible Senior Resource Planning Manager to join   our team to efficiently marry up our supply of nearshore Gorilla Consultants with our client project demands. Think “right people, right place, right time”. We are seeking someone extremely savvy in working with data and analytics to drive proactive decision making and solve puzzles. You also need to have a solid foundation of program management experience which   ensures your ability to anticipate, plan, schedule, allocate, juggle, communicate & deftly collaborate with a cross-section of demanding stakeholders. 


Responsibilities

Manage Data

  • Be the business requirements owner for IT to ensure governance and data integrity of job descriptions, the tracking of consultant skills, and client placement requirements
  • Ensure the quality of the data, so the IT systems and tools can do their job to accurately help align supply vs demand
  • Enforce cross-functional data entry and process compliance
  • You need to be the single source of truth providing visibility on supply vs demand

Utilize Data, Automation and Predictive Analytics in Order to be a:

  • Match-Maker:
    • Plan, schedule, and assign our existing consulting resources to service our client project needs based on their previous experience & skills, availability, development plans, and project budget.
    • Keep utilization high
  • Effective Mediator:
    • Run an elegant placement planning forum to mediate an interface of client project placement managers (who represent demand) with consultant talent agents (who represent supply), facilitating “good matches” 
  • Pipeline Predictor:
    • Predict types of new hires (based on the sales pipeline) or types of new clients (based on the bench pipeline) that we will need in order to help us hire out ahead of demand
    • Think “Just In Time” placements
  • Recruiting Business Partner:
    • Client project placement managers will look to you first when building a team for a client
    • You’ll refer them to recruiting to pursue a new hire where there are no existing consultants available to meet their requirements
    • Empower recruiting by sharing information you have gathered 

Be Accountable:

  • Run Reporting, Offer Insights & Manage Corrective Action Plans in Order to Ensure We...
    • Maximize consulting resource utilization (keep idleness minimized)
    • Maximize client satisfaction (ensure alignment to skill and budget requirements) 

Requirements

Fundamentals:

  • Resource Management Certified Professional (RMCP) or be able to prove the experiential equivalent
  • 8+ years of experience generally
  • 3+ years in a consulting services business specifically
  • Highly proficient in English, both verbal and written

Additional Expectations:

  • Complex cross-functional project management / program management experience
  • Strong collaboration and negotiating capabilities
  • Understands requirements needed for Agile and Software Engineering teams
  • Extremely technology savvy and data-driven
  • Thrives in managing ever-changing priorities in fast-paced environment
  • Highly proficient analyzing data, metrics and predictive analytics and using it to drive actionable plans

Bonus:

  • Undergraduate education in statistics, computer science or business administration
  • Experience with Salesforce Tableau, Financial Force, TaskRay / Flux Capacity and/or Salesforce Einstein Analytics is a plus
  • Spanish fluency is a plus
